Linda Gail Zabriskie Wanner, age 60, passed away in Brigham City on July 18, 2012, with her loving husband by her side.
She was born 19 March 1952 in Boise Idaho to Evelyn Williamson Zabriskie and Douglas Lynn Zabriskie. Linda grew up and attended school in Logan and graduated from Logan High Linda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she held many positions with her favorites being the older youth and especially compassionate service leader. She loved trying to prove to her Grandpa B. that his bible was the same as hers (She is probably pursuing that mission). She loved reading, embroidering and baking. Being a recipient of Linda’s baked goods was a real treat! Also loved football, Brett Favre and the Packers.
She was married to Trist Roberts which ended in divorce. She later married Don Williamson and cared for him until his death. She was alone for awhile then met and married the sweetheart of her life, Rodney Wanner. Rod said she was making him fat with her good cooking.
She is survived by her husband and best friend Rodney, of Brigham City, Utah, her mother Evelyn Zabriskie-Howard (Allen) of Saint George Utah, her brothers, Bruce Douglas of Preston, Idaho, Jeffery Lynn (Cindy) of Kuna, Idaho, Kenneth James (Jennifer) of Lehi, Utah, and her sisters, Sheryl Ann Barfus (Collin) of Hyrum, Utah, and Becky Jean Stewart, of Nibley, Utah. She is also survived by Rodney’s children, Richard (Rae) of Logan, Utah, Rohn of Brigham City, Utah, Ryan (Marie) of Honeyville, Utah, Stacie (Mark) Nickle of Layton, Utah and many nieces and nephews that Linda loved very much.
