Linda Wilson

June 30, 1944 — June 4, 2012

HYRUM, UTAH; Our loving mother and grandmother Linda Jeanne Wilson passed away on June 4, 2012 while doing what she loved .... camping.

She was born to James and Ila Nipper on June 30, 1944 in Olympia, Washington. She later graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1984 she married the love of her life, George Hyrum Wilson III. Together they had many adventures one being camp hosts throughout the intermountain west. Linda was well loved by the camp guest and became known as the “Hummingbird Lady” She loved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the various callings, especially serving a Genealogical Mission. Some of her passions in life included singing music, painting, bird watching and dancing in her younger days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ila Nipper, her loving husband, George and a grandson , Chase T. Keller. Linda is survived by two sisters and one brother, Joyce and Chuck Gull; Debbie and Russ Stacey; Del and Soni Nipper; ten children; Ed and Marsha Keller; Jay and Kathy Keller; David and Holly Wilson; Bret and Jessica Keller; Sherylin Barrientos; Debi and Corey Balls; Merri Wilson; Tiffany Wilson; Michael Wilson; Hyrum Wilson and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her dearly. Linda you are loved and will be missed.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm in the Hyrum 9th Ward chapel, 100 South 450 East). There will be a viewing Friday evening from 7-9 pm at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan at on Saturday at the church from 10:00 - 11:30 am.
