Linda Kay Russell Zollinger, 52, born January 21, 1959, passed away on January 6, 2012 at her home in Cypress, Texas.
She spent all of her growing up years in Logan, Utah. Linda graduated from Logan High School in 1977 and Utah State University in 1980.
Linda married Olin Zollinger in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 25, 1988. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Jodi and Caprice. They had many wonderful adventures together, as they moved quite often all across the United States.
Being an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend came naturally to Linda. She found great joy in being a homemaker. Her daughters were blessed to have such a wonderful mother, who adored them beyond belief.
Linda was always an “early to bed and early to rise” person who greeted each new day with a smile. One could find Linda exercising each day, often enjoying the beauty of nature on her walks and bike rides. She loved to read. As a loving mother, she sacrificed everything for her daughters. Linda enjoyed being surrounded by family and close friends. She was loved greatly and will truly be missed by all.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Olin; daughters, Jodi and Caprice; parents, Melvin and Barbara Russell; sisters, Carol Lee Russell and Marilyn (Rodney) Anderton; brother, Craig (Pat) Russell. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Ann Russell.
Memorial services for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center. Interment will follow at Logan City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations for her daughters’ education be made to Zion’s Bank, in the name of Zollinger, 102 N. Main, Logan, UT 84321.
