Lois Jean Reeder

Lois Jean Williamson Reeder, died November 26, 2023 at Autumn Care in Hyde Park.

She was born January 18, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David Oliver and Edith Mary Williamson. She was the oldest of five children. The family then moved to Logan, Utah where she graduated from Logan High School and Utah State University. She met Robert William Reeder at a speech competition. They were married October 15, 1958 in the Logan Temple.

They were blessed with five children, Aileen Moss (Jed), Shane (Michelle), Robert, Klay (Melanie) and Misty. They later adopted Lisa Jordan.

Lois taught elementary school for several years and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of her favorites was teaching in a one room schoolhouse in Shell, Wyoming.

Reading was a passion of hers and she was rarely seen without a book in hand. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints. She enjoyed serving in many different callings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Robert, brothers Joseph and Robert. She is survived by brothers Russ and Brian. Children Aileen, Shane, Klay, Lisa and Misty. 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
