Lola Humphreys Andersen

LOGAN, UTAH: Lola Humphreys Andersen, 85, of Logan , died Thursday , April 6, 2006 in Logan.
She was born March 26, 1921 in College Ward, Utah a daughter of Angus L. and Margaret Nielsen Humphreys. She married Glenn S. Andersen on June 26, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died March 29, 1991.
She graduated from South Cache High School and worked at the Cache Knitting Mill for many years and the USU Food Services. She was a member of the Logan 6th Ward . Lola worked on her parents farm until her marriage. She always kept a beautiful vegetable and flower garden. She spent 100's of hours knitting and crocheting gifts for her family. She lived in Logan from the day she married until her death.
She is survived by her sister, Colleen and Alan Smith, Buhl, ID; sisters-in-law, Lora Andersen, Logan; MelRee Andersen, Petersboro, UT; Barbara and Wilford Jones, Denver, CO; Cleone Andersen, Modesto, CA; brother-in-law, Wendell Andersen, Dallas, TX; Owen King, Pocatello, ID and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Yeates, Jean King, LaRee Humphreys, brothers, Dan, Mervin and Orvin Humphreys.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm in the Logan City Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 1:00 - 2:30 pm at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
