E. Loree McGee Wright
Mrs. Morris H. Wright (E. Loree McGee), 94 years old, a former resident of Logan, passed away on July 2, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona.
Mrs. Wright was born in Chicago, IL on September 5, 1915. At the age of two she moved to Logan with her father Dr. H. R. McGee, formerly an obstetrician at the Budge Clinic, and mother, Pauline Stocker. As a child Loree remembers times when Indians would camp near her home. In 1935 while attending Utah State University, she married Morris H. Wright, also of Logan. His business career took her to Cleveland, Ohio for 20 years and then to New York City for 25 years until retirement in Tucson.
Loree is survived by a sister, Patty Barlow of Tucson, her son, John M. Wright of Belmont, Massachusetts, 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary on Friday, July 9, 2010. A visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 9 AM. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
