ROY, UTAH: Lori Ann Welk, 43, our beautiful wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and good friend passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the Intermountain Medical center in Murray, Utah.
Lori was born on October 8, 1964 in Logan, Utah a daughter of Gary O. and Fay Syddall Miles. Lori was raised in Kaysville and graduated from Davis High School in 1982. Lori was an excellent skier and was a member of the Davis High Ski Team. Lori was also part of the first AYSO girls soccer team in the state, something that she was very proud of. Lori was an accomplished cosmetologist, graduating from Weber State with a degree in cosmetology. She had a great fashion sense.
Lori stayed at home to raise her two children, Miles (18) and Madison (15) and to take care of her husband. She was currently working for Wal-Mart in Clinton and enjoyed her friendships and was known as a good worker. She was always proud of her work.
Lori married Brad M. Welk on August 5, 1989 in Elko, Nevada. Through this union they were blessed with two beautiful children. Lori loved them and was always proud of them and supported them in all they did.
Lori is survived by her husband, two children, parents and the following brothers and sisters, Steve and Sherma Miles, Alpine, UT; Wade Miles, Salt Lake City; Cindy and Dave Affleck, Bountiful; Mike Miles, Park City; and Teresa Miles, Paradise, Utah. Lori will also be missed by her two dogs, Earlie and Frankie whom she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Miles, Grandma and Grandpa Syddall, and brother, David Ray Miles.

Lori was a kind and compassionate person who had a contagious smile and giggle, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was the best aunt who loved her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel, 34 East Center St., Logan. There will be a viewing Wednesday fro 10:30 - 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Paradise Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
