Logan, Utah: Lorna Ethel Nicholls, 96, returned home to her loved ones peacefully on October 5, 2015.
Lorna was born on October 2, 1919 in Brisbane Australia, to Charles and Ethel Schooth. Lorna married the love of her life, Glen Edward Nicholls on October 23, 1943 in Brisbane.
Lorna traveled to America on a bride ship along with 750 war brides and was reunited with Glen. They made their home in Logan, Utah and made a life their together. Glen and Lorna were blessed with one son, Wayne. Lorna worked for the Logan School District where she was a lunch lady.
Lorna is survived by her nephew Shirley John (Beverly) Kennedy of Roy, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen and son Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

A viewing will be held October 8, 2015, from 10:30-11:30 at the Allen-Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
