Our mother, Louise Andrus McDonald Latham, 92, passed away April 21st at Birch Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care in Smithfield, Utah. She was born October 15, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steve and Elizabeth McDonald.
Mom was always up for a travel adventure with Dad and the family. She and Dad traveled the world together. She loved to work in her garden which was always filled with colorful flowers. Her artistic talent was also seen in her beautiful paintings and sewing, Mom loved serving in any capacity as a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; a daughter, Roxanne; a son-in-law, Tyler; her parents and siblings, Elizabeth, Emily, and Howard.
She is survived by children Karen (Mark), Philip (Sue), Laura (Allan), Allen (LeeAnn), and Julie; and 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings Ross, Steve, Ed, and Irene.
We wish to thank the compassionate staff at Brich Creek Memory Care and Atlas Homecare and Hospice for their tenderness and diligence in caring for Mom, as well as Kathy Henniger for her one-on-one time with Mom.
A graveside service was held on April 26.
