LoVell Bjorkman Medrano, 79, of Logan, Utah, passed away of natural causes on April 8, 2007 at the home of her son, Chuck Medrano in Providence Utah.
She was born on January 6, 1928 in Los Angeles, California to Charles Peter and Mary Shaw Bjorkman. Her family returned to Logan shortly after her birth where her brother Del Rey was born four years later. Her father was killed in a car/train accident in 1934. She and her brother were raised by their mother on the island just south of Central Park. She graduated from Logan High School in 1945. She married George Medrano on June 22, 1948. They moved to southern California where their four children were born.
In 1967, LoVell returned to Logan with her four children. They returned to the house her father had built where she had been raised in the Logan 13th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed being back around many of the friends from her youth, gardening the ground her parents had gardened, and watching her children mature in Cache Valley. LoVell loved her family and friends, her flowers and pets, and her yard and views of the mountains.
LoVell is survived by her children Skip (Janet) Medrano of Taylorsville, Utah, Steven (Francine) Medrano of Indio, California, Chuck Medrano of Providence, Mary James of Nibley, Utah, fourteen grandchildren, and eight great-grand children.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Del Rey Bjorkman.

Funeral services will be held at Allen Hall Mortuary 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah on Friday, April 13, 2007 at noon. A viewing will precede the funeral from 10:30 to 11:30.
