Luana Anderson

September 25, 1934 — February 18, 2011

NIBLEY, UTAH - Luana (Till) Berry Anderson, 76, passed away unexpectedly February 18, 2011 in Logan, Utah. Luana was born September 25, 1934 in Paradise, Utah to Joseph and Verda Miles Berry. She attended schools in Paradise Elementary and South Cache High. On November 4, 1954 she married Paul George Anderson of Nibley, Utah in the Logan LDS Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, of 56 years; two daughters, Kathleen (Wynn) Anderson, Fruitland, ID, Kristie (Michael) Egan, Fernley, NV; and two sons, Jeffrey (Heidi) Anderson, Nibley, Kevin (Sherrie) Anderson, Garland; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Brothers Carlyle (Whitie) Berry, Riverdale; Mark Berry, Paradise. Sister Judy (Lyle) Elwood, Thornton, CO. She is proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers; Miles (Bus) and Scott, and one sister; Marilyn Jenkins.
Luana was a lifelong member of the LDS church, currently Nibley 6th Ward. She served in Primary, Young Women’s, Relief Society and many years on the Old Folks Committee. She was a wonderful cook and known far and wide for her Christmas candies, which she generously gave to many people throughout the valley. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and for the last 17 years, spending the winters in Yuma, AZ with her husband and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in the Nibley 6th Ward Chapel, 360 W 3200 S. A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 22, from 6 to 8 pm at the Allen-Hall Mortuary and prior to the services on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the church. Interment will be in the Millville-Nibley City Cemetery.
