Logan, Utah: Lucille Davis Eskelson, 93, passed away on Sunday morning, August 1, 2010 at the home of her granddaughter. She was born on November 11, 1916 in Preston, Idaho to Leslie Merrill and Edna Harris Davis. She married John Doras Eskelson on July 22, 1936 in the Logan LDS Temple. She attended school in Preston. She worked for 14 years in the Primary as a teacher, counselor and also as president, she later served in the Stake Primary board. She served as a counselor in the Relief Society. She worked in the Logan Temple.
She lived in Preston, Idaho; High Creek and also in Logan, Utah.
Lucille is survived by her three sons and one daughter; LeRoy (Linda), Smithfield; John (Libby), Bremerton, Washington; Bonnie (John) Godfrey, Smithfield; Jerry (Alona), Preston, Idaho; 29 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Sister-in-law, Ann Davis, American Fork, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three sons, Leslie, Richard and Terry and one granddaughter, Rhondalynn.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 12:00 Noon, at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan Chapel, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan where friends and family may call from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery.
