Lucy White

November 7, 1916 — June 23, 2010

Lucy M. White

Logan, Utah: Lucy Morgan White, passed away peacefully late Wednesday evening, June 23, 2010, after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage early that morning. She went gently and quickly. Lucy was a special lady - beloved by young and old alike. She was born of goodly parents, Joseph Samuel Morgan and Jennett Cowley Morgan on November 7, 1916. She was born in Logan and lived her entire life in this valley she loved. She was the youngest of five children and had outlived all of her immediate family - her brothers Larry and Cecil and sisters Elva and Orva. She married Glen B. White in 1937 in the Logan Temple and he passed away in 1997. She also lost her baby Valerie and her beloved daughter, Sharon Stewart. She is survived by one grandson, Scott Stewart (Evelyn), and one great-grandson, Logan Stewart, and all of whom live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her sisters-in-law, Roberta Morgan, of Logan, and Doris Wolford and Ruth Fullmer, of Las Vegas also survive her. Lucy knew much of sorrow in her life but she endured all adversity well and always with a smile. She was a people person and loved to talk. It was a sad day when she could no longer play golf and travel with Glen. She loved her DUP camp and her Family Home Evening group. She loved bright, beautiful clothes and jewelry and she always enjoyed reading a good book right up until the day she passed away. She enjoyed her flowers - outside and inside. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and lived many years in the Logan 3rd Ward. She moved to Terrace Grove Assisted Living two and a half years ago where she made more new friends. The funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010, at 11:00AM, with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30AM at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, UT.
