Lucy Harris Coburn

LOGAN, UTAH: Lucy Harris Coburn was born January 29,
1918 in Logan, Utah to Jesse Harris and Sarah Holliday
Harris, and died on May 27, 2005 in Salt Lake City,
Utah. Both parents passed away when she was young.
Her father’s brother, Charles Harris and his wife,
Shirley, adopted and raised Lucy and her brother
Frank. She was educated in Logan city schools and
worked as Head Cashier at the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake
City for 20 years. She is survived by her husband,
Paul H. Coburn, her daughter Nancy Roberts Lucks of
Seattle (from first marriage to Fred Roberts), six
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and
nephews. She was the youngest and last survivor of
six children, including Mose, George, Letty, Bessie
and Frank. Lucy was also preceded in death by
daughter Shirley Ann Roberts, formerly of Boise,
Idaho.
Funeral Services will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary,
34 E. Center, Logan, Utah on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at
10:00am. A viewing will be held one hour prior to
