NORTH LOGAN, UTAH: Lynette Heninger (1937-2009) peacefully passed away from complications of ALS on November 3rd, 2009. Lynette was born in Jerome Idaho, to Richard and Anna Harston, on June 1, 1937. The family later moved to Logan and Lynette graduated from Logan High School and attended USU, receiving her Associates degree.
Lynette met and married her eternal companion, Sheldon Heninger, in 1958. They were sealed as a family in the Logan Temple in 1975. They initially made their home in the Island area of Logan and later moved to the Cliffside area. They were blessed with seven children.
Lynette was very intelligent and talented. She had many interests and helped her husband in various business ventures. She was always one of the first to adopt new ideas and devoted a lot of her time to working with computers. She loved music, and sang and played for many years. Most important to her was her family, and her home has always been full of food and people. Lynette was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and contributed much of her time to her callings.
Lynette is survived by her husband of 51 years, Sheldon, along with 7 children: Craig (Ruth) Heninger, Barry (Shirley) Heninger, Shelly (Gary) Housley, Sandy (Eugene) Fancher, Andrea (Jason) Reynolds, Michael Heninger, Brian Heninger, 21 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS chapel located at 2500 North and 400 East on Monday, November 9th at 12 noon. A viewing will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary on Center Street in Logan this Sunday evening from 6-8.
