Margaret Packer Bauer, 88, died on Saturday, August 13, 2016 of natural causes. She was born on April 30, 1928 in Arco, Idaho to Alma and Nilus Packer.
She loved the experiences of life, as a daughter of an officer in the US Army. Moving around in the States and in Europe, including Germany, where she was once shot. Had she been in the service, she would have received a Purple Heart.
Margaret also served her Lord in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings throughout her life. She was married to Herman Bauer, and is survived by her daughter, Alison (Raymond) Christensen of Clearfield, Utah; her son, Paul Fredrick (Lesa) Bauer of Layton, Utah; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by just about everyone, as she says.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 17 2016 in the Clearfield 18th Ward Chapel, 151 North 1000 West in Clearfield. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Lewiston Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
