Maria Ponce

Logan-Maria Dolores Ponce passed away peacefully, March 09, 2012. Maria had a big heart and loved everyone. Maria was very loyal to her family and friends and loved spending time with them. Maria was passionate about cooking, grooming, animals, crocheting, and had several other hobbies. Maria met the love of her life in 1998, and married Gilberto Ponce October 13, 2001. Together they created several happy memories, traveled, and remained devoted to each other. Maria was born in Knoxville, TN on July 18, 1979 to Paul Owens and Manuela Cabanas. Lord, Maria will be greatly missed until we are able to see her again. Maria is survived by her loving husband, Gilberto Ponce, her loving family and friends.

A viewing will be held for Maria on Tuesday, March 13 from 6 - 8 pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 E. Center St.). Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday at 11 am at The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (725 S. 250 E.) in Hyde Park. Interment will take place following the services at the Logan Cemetery.
