LYMAN, WYOMING: Marie Tanner Lee was born April 7, 1926 in Carter, Wyoming to Walter Smith Tanner and Emily Louise Bluemel. She passed away December 22, 2015 at her daughters’ home in Logan, Utah. Marie married Zeldon Kenneth Lee (Johnny) May 18, 1946 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. They brought into the world a daughter, Anita on April 6, 1947 and was followed by a sister, Judy on August 29, 1953. She grew up in a family of 10 children which taught her a strong work ethic. This manifested itself through her many years of work at Little America in which she ending her tenure as the Head of Maids. She enjoyed her time spent at Little America and valued the friendships she made while there. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed vacationing with her children and grandchildren, writing stories, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, playing games and watching game shows. Her favorite sports teams were the Wyoming Cowboys and the Denver Broncos. She is survived by her daughters: Anita L. (Lee) Delaney of Redding, CA; Judy A (Scott) of Logan, UT; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren. She was beloved by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, her parents, Walter and Emily; her sisters, Mary, Ruth, Helen, Mariam, and brothers, Chuck, Bud, Bill, Joe and Willard and an un-named infant brother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 12pm in the Lyman LDS Ward chapel. A viewing will be held Monday December 28 from 6pm – 8pm and Tuesday December 29 from 10:30am – 11:30am at the church. Interment will be held in the Lyman, Wyoming Cemetery.
