Marie Bradshaw Trolson Cook

September 10, 1931 — October 11, 2010

Marie Bradshaw Trolson Cook passed away October 11, 2010 after a long illness. Marie was born September 10, 1931 in Wellsville, UT and lived in Logan most of her life. She was born to Thomas and Lettitia (Letty) Bradshaw. Marie was previously married to Keith W. Trolson, whom she had eight children with. She married John W. Cook April 13, 1975 and was later sealed to him August 13, 2009 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Marie graduated from South Cache High School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked at USU’s High Rise Cafeteria and All About Kids Preschool. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cookbooks, window shopping on QVC, Little House on the Prairie, crocheting, reading, gardening and always, and especially, tomatoes. Marie kept an immaculate house and yard.
She is survived by her husband John W. Cook from Logan, UT; seven of her eight children: Kathy (Matt) Anderson, Cindy (Kelly) Lauritzen, Lori (Conell) Olsen, Tom (Debbi) Trolson, Lynn (Bill) Bauer, Jeff Trolson, and Robert (Barbara) Trolson; her four step-children: Lisa Marie Cook, Steven John (Vonna) Cook, Bryan David (Roxanne) Cook, Jennifer (Dave) Law; 34 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and her brother Darrell (Shirley) Bradshaw, and sister Eunice (Jerry) Gittens.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lettitia Bradshaw; her son, Michael K. Trolson; her sister, Jean (Fred) Sorson; her brother, Paul Bradshaw; her step-daughter, Allison Hymas; and her twin granddaughters, Alisha & Ashley Trolson.
A viewing for Marie will be held Friday, October 15th at the Logan 6th Ward building on 600 S. and 100 W. from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. A graveside service will be conducted at the Logan Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
