Marilyn Morgan Hunt

VANCOUVER, WA: Marilyn Hunt, 71, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 in Vancouver, Washington. Marilyn was born in Logan, Utah on October 13, 1936 to Austin and Marjorie Morgan. Marilyn grew up in Logan and graduated from Logan High School. She attended Utah State University. She married Dan W. Hunt on June 5, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.
After a short period of time in private podiatry practice, Dan joined the Army. Together, Dan and Marilyn traveled extensively throughout their military career, living in El Paso & San Antonio, TX; Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Columbus, GA; Tacoma, WA; Silver Spring, MD; Colorado Springs, CO; Des Moines, IA; Salt Lake City, UT and finally Vancouver, WA.
Marilyn was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing piano and traveling. Marilyn was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints and served in a wide variety of callings.
Marilyn is survived by her father Austin Howard Morgan of Logan, Utah, daughters Candis Michaels and Allison (Craig) Whittle of Vancouver, WA, Patrice Dean of Ashland, OR, Jennifer (Mike) Skaggs of Bremerton, WA and son Jason (Kim) Hunt of Urbandale, IA; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Howard Lee Morgan, mother Marjorie Hancey Morgan, son Howard Hunt and husband Dan Hunt.

A graveside service will then be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery located at 1000 North 1200 East. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
