Mark Steven Teuscher, son of Ivan and Jane Ruth Teuscher, was born May 9, 1954 and returned to his Heavenly Father on April 24, 2024 after a period of illness. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, 6 children, Brett (Amanda), Justin (Kristali), Scott (Ashley), Deborah Finlayson (Dylan), Ethan (Lisa), and Clayton (Kassie), 14 Grandchildren, and sister, Jean (Will) Britt. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and brothers, Lyn and Dale Teuscher.
Mark graduated from El Centro High School, El Centro, California and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Austria Salzburg Mission. After his mission his parents moved to Fish Haven, Idaho, where Mark met his future wife, Marilyn. Mark and Marilyn were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mark was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held a strong testimony of the Gospel throughout his life. He held various Church callings at the Ward and Stake level. His favorite Church callings were as a Scout Master and teaching the young adults in Sunday School. Mark graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Brigham Young University with a Masters of Public Administration. He was known for his engagement with community leadership as a City and County Planner in many communities in Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. He loved his involvement with the Boy Scouts, camping, boating, and spending time with his family. His children were his greatest accomplishments and he felt an honor to be their father. He loved to tease and tell stories of his childhood in the Philippines and his 1966 Baby Blue Ford Mustang convertible. Mark loved history and was a walking book of knowledge. He knew something about everything. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
