Mark Larsen Richman

July 5, 1960 — April 16, 2006

LOGAN, UTAH: Mark Larsen Richman, 45, beloved husband, father, son and brother, returned home to his Heavenly Father on June 16,2006. He peacefully finished his earthly life, surrounded by his family, after a lengthy and courageous fight with cancer.
Mark was born on July 5, 1960 in Logan, Utah, the sixth child of Allen Hunsaker Richman and Melba Elsie Larsen. Mark was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He graduated from Sky View High School in 1978 and served faithful missions in Canada and Louisiana.
Mark was married to Kathleen Anglesey Richman in the Logan L.D.S. Temple on June 24, 1983, and was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Megan and Lindsay Kristine.
He graduated from Utah State University and Weber State University. He was a paramedic, firefighter, training officer, and hazlmat officer at Logan City Fire Department.
Mark was blessed with many years of service in the Church. He served in various organizations including Primary, Young Men's, High Priests, and as the Cache West Stake Emergency Preparedness Director.
His family brought Mark his greatest joy. He dearly loved his wife and daughters; time together with the family was always his top priority. He was dedicated, hard-working and selfless in all that he did.
Mark had a beautiful singing voice and was often requested to sing at various functions. His hobbies included doing anything as a family; his favorites were camping, fishing and biking.
Before his disabilities took away the physical abilities that he loved, he was an avid basketball and baseball player. He loved sports, running, hiking; anything physical.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughters Megan and Lindsay Kristine, parents Allen and Melba Richman, sisters Judy Richman and Paula Mathews, brothers, Bruce Richman and Darvel Richman. He was preceded in death by his eldest sister, Ilene Richman Knowles.
Our family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses for the care and support that Mark received during his extended illness. Our heartfelt love and appreciation goes out to wonderful friends, to Peg, to the L.R.H. staff that Mark was closely associated with, to M.P.R.R.C. and L.F.D.
We have been blessed with extended family that have been so consistently giving of themselves, nurturing, compassionate, devoted, and eternal love. Your companionship has made it possible for us to continue through and move forward in life. We love each of you.
Weare so fortunate to have shared in your earthly life, Mark, and know that you will continue to watch over and care for us until we are together again. You will be constantly remembered, greatly missed and very loved. Thank you. We love you to infinity and beyond!!!
