Marsha Taylor

March 3, 1947 — April 21, 2011

Marsha E. Taylor passed away peacefully in her River Heights home April 21, 2011. She was born March 3, 1947, in Manhattan, New York, while her father attended graduate school at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She spent most of her life in Cache Valley. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marsha enjoyed music and especially loved playing her accordion for small and large groups. She could pick up almost any instrument and play it within a few hours. Printing and poetry were more than simple hobbies. She loved to travel and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Marsha had a great love for animals. She collected any stray, and if it was ill, she would nurse it back to health. She enjoyed watching the animals in her back yard, and she knew each deer, squirrel and bird by the name she had bestowed on it. She had an interest in semi-precious stones and jewelry-making.

Masha married Barnett Kay Moss June 30, 1966, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They were later divorced.

She is survived by her two children, Debra (Lee) Jensen, of Albany, OR, and Jeremy Taylor, of Logan, UT, her three grandchildren, Daniel and Jacob Jensen and Tamsen Taylor, her mother Frances Taylor and her brother Elwynn Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father Sterling Angus Taylor.
