NORTH LOGAN, UTAH: Martha Jenkins Rose, 65, of North Logan passed away peacefully on the morning of December 5, 2015 in Logan after a valiant battle with cancer.
Martha was born in Logan, Utah on November 25, 1950 to Lowell and Donna Jenkins. She graduated from Logan High School in 1969 and subsequently attended Utah State University. She was married to R. David Rose from 1972-1993.
Martha is perhaps best known for her 45 years service at Bennett’s Paint in Logan where she used her incredible eye for color to help countless members of the community choose the perfect paint for their home or business.
Martha was an active member of the LDS church and served faithfully and selflessly in each calling she received throughout her life. Martha touched the lives of all who knew her because of her deep Christ-like love and genuine concern. She put others first with an outstretched hand and cheerful disposition in every circumstance.
She is survived by her three children: Jonathan Rose, Emily Rose, Julie (Brian) Butterfield and her four grandchildren which she adored: Samantha, Christian, Evan and Rowan. Her mother, Donna Jenkins and siblings: Janice Stettler, Gregory (Liz) Jenkins, Sandra (David) Pack, Roxey (Stephen) Neeley and Ron (Taunya) Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Dean Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11th at 11:00 am in the LDS church at 1650 East 2600 North in North Logan, Utah. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary 34 East Center Street in Logan and at the church from 9:30-10:30am prior to the funeral service.
