Martha worked in the Business Office at Cache Valley Dairy for 30 years, where she was responsible for the producer payroll. She enjoyed her association with many wonderful people throughout her years there.

After her husband, Alfred passed away in 1989, she moved to Logan in 1991. She has loved her neighbors and friends in the Logan 43rd Ward. She worked for a few years part-time at Logan Job Service as she adjusted to retirement. She married Roger Jeffs on August 18, 2000. Though divorced several years later, they have remained good friends.
