Martha Louise Young

March 6, 1935 — April 7, 2008

Logan, Utah: Martha Louise Young, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7th, 2008 at the Sunshine Terrace surrounded by family members.
Louise was born on March 6th, 1935 in Logan, Utah to Einar and Ruby England Young, the 11 th of 14 children in the family. She attended school in Logan and spent many years helping her widowed mother and doing housekeeping for many families in the Cache Valley area who thought very highly of her.
Louise spent the last three years as a resident of Sunshine Terrace where she made many friends and was affectionately known as "Grandma Louise". Her wall was filled with photos, wedding announcements and baby pictures from the staff at Sunshine Terrace who took care of her and grew to love her.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and five brothers, Marilyn Ewer, Faye Woolsey, Nelson, Eldon, Larry" Gaylen and Alfred Young. She is survived by two sisters, Colleen (Bill) Gleed of Logan and Betty Kaae of Mendon and four brothers: Lavern of Los Angeles, CA., Edwin Joseph (Yvonne) of Nibley, Kenneth (Annie) of Brigham City and Alan (Catherine) of Blackfoot, Id. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Michael Stones, the staff at Sunshine Terrace and her friends from Smith's Market Place. She really enjoyed visiting with the many friends she made at both places.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 at 1 :00 pm at the Logan City Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 to 12:45 pm at the Allen Hall Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
