MARY LUCILLE NELSON CORBETT PASSED AWAY THURSDAY, JANUARY 18 2007. LUCILLE WAS BORN AUGUST 22,1915 TO OSCAR R NELSON AND MARY PETERSON NELSON. SHE WAS THE FIRST DAUGHTER OF 9 CHILDREN. LUCILLE ATTENDED SCHOOL IN BENSON, UTAH. LUCILLE’S FAMILY MOVED OFTEN DUE TO HER FATHERS WORK, THEY FINALLY SETTLED IN LOGAN, UTAH. LUCILLE HELPED PEOPLE CLEAN THEIR HOMES FOR A LIVING, LUCILLE SPENT MANY HOURS HELPING HER BLIND BROTHER MILTON, WHO SHE ENJOYED AND LOVED VERY MUCH. LUCILLE ENJOYED DOING HANDY WORK FOR HER FAMILY. SHE MET AND MARRIED BERT CORBETT ON FEBRUARY 16, 1939 IN FARMINGTON, UTAH. THEIR MARRIAGE WAS LATER SOLEMNIZED IN THE LOGAN LDS TEMPLE ON MARCH 17, 1950. BURT AND LUCILLE MADE THEIR HOME IN SMITHFIELD, UTAH.

LUCILLE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, HUSBAND, BERT CORBETT, BROTHERS, JAY NELSON, RAY NELSON, DEAN NELSON, RIED NELSON, STAN NELSON, AND SISTER BENA NIELSON.
A VIEWING WILL BE HELD MONDAY, JANUARY 22,2007 FROM 10:30 AM TO 11:30 AM AT THE SMITHFIELD 3RD WARD CHURCH, 179 NORTH 100 EAST, SMITHFIELD, UTAH. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT NOON IN THE SMITHFIELD CITY CEMETERY.
