Mary Madaline Nere Hardy

Beloved mother, grandmother, great, and great-great- grandmother, Mary Madaline (Nere) Hardy died February 17, 2009 at Willow Glen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brigham City, Utah.
Mary was born June 26, 1915 in Plains, Kansas to James and Emma Nere. She was the youngest of six children and the only girl. She was married to Raymond Zachariah Hardy in 1933.
Mary spent her life as a mother and homemaker. She loved the mountains, riding, driving, picnics, and playing games such as checkers and dominoes with her children and grandchildren.
She had three sons and one daughter. Her eldest son James and his wife Kay live in Alexandria, Virginia. Second son, Ruben, preceded her in death June 1, 2008. Daughter, Barbara (Hardy) Gleason and her husband Wes reside in Wellsville, Utah. Youngest son, Randy is living in Quartzite; Arizona. Mary had 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, & 4 great,-great- grandchildren. She was much loved and will be dearly missed by all.
Services will occur at a later date. Burial will take place in the Wellsville City Cemetery on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
