LAKETOWN, UTAH: M. Devro Sealy, 51, passed away after
a difficult battle with cancer, July 2, 2007.
"Devro was a fun-loving, hard-working, never-quitting
man of the Lord who could make people laugh."
Born February 8, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to L.
Milton and Shirley Phippen Sealy. Married Gayle Burch,
July 7, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. She died July
25, 1978. He later married Lori Rich, May 28, 1980 in
the Salt Lake Temple.
He graduated from American Fork High School in 1974.
He served an LDS mission to the Argentina South
Mission from 1975-1977. Devro Sealy was always a hard
worker and believed that he could do anything he set
his mind to. He started his own excavation business
and later started other businesses in specialty
construction, computer technology, and manufacturing.
Devro Sealy was the founder and CEO of Sealy
Development Corporation.
He grew up in Highland, Utah and after his marriage to
Lori, he lived with his family in Georgia for 13
years. Devro and his family returned to Laketown, UT
in 1997.
Survived by his loving wife, Lori, son Kylee
(Jeanell), son Shea (Jackie), son Chezham, daughter
Kindra; grandchildren, Annaka, McKenna, and Porter;
parents, Milton and Shirley Sealy, sisters Vicki
Clayton of St. George, Linda Ottley of Highland, and
Loni Hatch of Holbrook, Arizona, and many other family
and friends.
Preceded in death by wife Gayle Burch Sealy, son Devro
Skyler Sealy, sister Judy Maxfield.
A viewing will occur Friday, July 6, 2007 from 6-8 PM
in the Garden City LDS Chapel. Funeral services will
be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Garden City
LDS Chapel. There will be a short viewing at 11:00 AM
followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment
will be at the Laketown Cemetery following the
service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction
