Melissa Lea Anhder was born on July 17, 1972, in Logan Utah to Lynn Jensen Anhder and Laura Lea Ravsten Anhder (divorced) Melissa passed away on May 22, 2024, at her home in Smithfield Utah at the tender age of 51 due to complications of type 1 diabetes that developed at the young age of 6 years old.

She grew up in the Murray Utah area. She married Blaine Robbins. During that union they had a son Raith Taylor and a daughter Shylea RaeAnn (deceased) Blaine and Melissa later divorced. She moved to the Vernal Utah area for several years. Her main occupation was in the home health care industry, being a caregiver to many youth and adults, for which she truly had the gift of compassion for helping others. In 2016, she moved back home to Cache Valley where she continued her health care occupation. In 2018, she was unable to continue as a caregiver as her health declined, however shortly after, she was ecstatic to hear the news that she was going to become a grandma to Jason. She truly taught others how to care for her. She fought a valiant fight of medical trials the past few years. Her current place of employment was at Lee's Marketplace. Melissa was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. She took out her Temple Endowment in the Logan LDS Temple on December 9, 2022. She truly came to know and love her Savior Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her mom and her infant daughter and many grandparents, and many close friends. She is survived by her son Raith, her dad Lynn, her 2 sisters Marcie Adams (Tyler) McKenzie Maurer (Nate) and other siblings Shanelle, Cody, and ChanDee, stepmom Paulette, and Raith's family (Daylah) Jason, Ryker, Ali, and many nieces and nephews. Melissa has many dear friends whom she loves dearly, her lifelong childhood best friend Kim Thompson and a dear cousin Tracy Pratt and family, her ward family whom she tenderly loved. Special thanks to her caregivers and loved ones McKenzie, Marcie, her dad, her neighbor Jay, Dr. Adam Tullis and staff, home health care nurse Verlyne, Dr. Schmidt and staff, Lee's Marketplace and many others.
