Melissa Sue Whipple

Our sweet daughter, sister, and dear friend, Melissa Sue Whipple, 46, of Logan, Utah passed away on December 12, 2023, due to complications of breast cancer. Peacefully returning to our loving Heavenly Father, she will be missed.  Melissa was born on February 17, 1977 in Bountiful, Utah to William (Bill) Whipple and Susan Rayl Whipple.

Melissa's love of life brought joy to those around her.  She had a wonderful laugh which will be missed by those who knew her.  She was very creative.  She took Covid masks and made them into Barbie dresses.  Her creativity and imagination blessed the children she knew and loved. Her friendship and unconditional love touched everyone.  

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson and Greg.

Melissa is survived by her mother, father, and three brothers, Mark (Jennifer), Jeff (Mary), Jared (Melissa).  We live for the day until we see her again.

We are grateful to the nurses and care givers of the cancer center.  We would also like to thank the hospice team from Intermountain Health Care.  Their ability to tirelessly show up at all hours of the day and night to bring help, support, hugs, smiles, love, and to soothe tears and emotions is much appreciated.  Much love to all the team from Susan and Melissa.

The funeral service for Melissa will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center Street, Logan, Utah.  A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 am.  All are welcome to join us.  The interment will be at the Providence City Cemetery.  www.allenmortuaries.com
