HYRUM, UTAH - Merlin Kresie, beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend passed away peacefully at the Sunshine Terrace Sept. 2 2010. Merlin was born September 3 1944 to Vernon w Kresie and Amy Bingham Kresie. Merlin grew up in Providence Utah and attended South Cache High School.
Merlin was married to Linda Rolph and later divorced, he then married Barbra Turner.
Merlin worked for H. Salt. Esq. Fish and Chips, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Johnsons and finished his working years at Miller Brothers as a truck diver.
Merlin loved to have cook outs in the back yard and he had taken many trips to Disneyland and cruises to Alaska and Mexico.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Barbra Turner Kresie, one Brother, Jay (Vicki) Kresie of Providence Utah, his mother, Amy Kresie of Providence Utah, 5 children, Shon (Kim) Kresie of Providence Utah, Troy Kresie of Logan Utah, Bryan (Karen) Kresie of California, Michelle Kresie (Paul) Wood of Hyrum Utah, and Landon (Janessa) Kresie of SLC, Utah, and 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Vernon Kresie and one granddaughter.
