Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Brother and friend was released from his pain on March 3, 2016, after a valiant struggle with Cancer. He was born August 5, 1954 to Marion and Helena Cottle Andrew, of Trenton, Utah. He was raised in Trenton, where he met and married Betty in February of 1971. They have five children, Lizette (Dan) Littlefield, AZ, Dusty (Kim) Pocatello, ID, Christy (Jason) Benson, UT, Jed (Ellie) Maple Falls, WA
and Ryan of Logan, UT. Although Mike and Betty were later Divorced Mother fulfilled her duties and cared for Mike until his last breathe. Dad leaves behind his Children, 17 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, Our Beloved Betty, and Toby the dog. His siblings Eva Rae (Richard) Keiser, West Valley UT, Patricia (Lynn) Johnson Logan, UT, Johnny (Lillian) Orem, UT, Ruth (Rae) Stoker Council, ID, Stuart (Evelyn) Smithfield, UT, Steve (Kathy) Nibley, UT, Marion (Dennis) Layne, Riverside, UT, David (Darlene) Lewiston, UT, Julie (Tony) Rosales Yarbalinda, CA, Robert (Dixie) St. George, UT, Bruce (Lynnette) Converse, TX He was preceded in Death by his parents and in-laws Richard, and Lillian.
Dad was born the 8th of 12 children. Dad spent most of his life living in Trenton. Marion passed when Dad was a small child and Helena raised the 12 children for the remainder of her life. Dad loved his Mother and was forever grateful for her sacrifices. Our Hearts have peace knowing that Marion and Helena finally have their son to hold together again. Dad also lived in Lewiston,Utah during the course of his marriage with Betty. They owned and operated "The Cafe" in uptown Lewiston. Dad loved billiards with friends and the Cutter Race season. Many memories of "The Cafe" uptown will remain his legacy. Dad worked as an equipment operator for many years, In the construction industry running various heavy equipment and then as Yard Boss at Economy Auto. His friends made from his work were life long, and the experiences created for our family will remain. Dad married Sandy in 1993, and although they were later divorced they remained friends. Dad enjoyed Hunting and Fishing and going to Lake Powell with friends.He loved wagering on football and enjoyed every season til the day he died. Dad always had a helping hand for a friend, a shoulder to cry on, and a place for you to be yourself and we will miss him greatly.
We would like to thank the staff at Integrity Home Health & Hospice who became part of our family and treated Dad with such love and respect right to the end.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allen Mortuary 420 East 1800 North No. Logan UT Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, at the LDS Church building,1200 North 400 West , Trenton, UT Viewing from 10 to 11 30 a.m. before the funeral services at 12 noon.
