Michael Don Larson

October 22, 1946 — February 25, 2013

On February 25, 2013, our beloved father, brother, and son, Michael Don Larson, passed away of natural causes in his home in Clarkston, Utah.
Mike was a loving provider, and cared for nothing so much as ensuring the success, health, and wellbeing of his family. He was thoughtless of himself, and selfless of his loved ones. He loved good food, good movies, good books, and good music. He had a passion for history, and was fascinated by old architecture, antiques, and the human aspects of historical objects and stories. He was quick to laugh, bright, and sought to lift the spirits of everyone around him. He was dearly loved, and he will be dearly missed. There is a hole in this world that cannot be filled for those whose lives he touched.
Mike was born on October 22, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, to Aileen and Don Larson. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1964. He was a proud patriot, and served in the Utah National Guard during the Vietnam War. He lived for thirty years in Fairbanks, Alaska, before returning to spend his last years in Clarkston, Utah, near his family. He is survived by his five children, Ari, Nicole, Andrea, Geneva, and Joseph; his two sisters, Kathy and Susan; and his mother, Aileen.
A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, March 4, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clarkston Cemetery, 700 North 300 East. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
