NORTH LOGAN - Michael James Jensen, 47, passed away from a sudden illness March 21, 2010.
Born November 18, 1962 in Murray, Utah to Roger and Gwendolyn Hansen Jensen. Married to Kelli McKnight, July 26, 1984, in the Jordan River LDS Temple.
He graduated from Kearns High School in 1981. He served a mission to Honduras for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He received his Bachelors in Accounting at the University of Utah and a Masters Degree of Business Administration in 1989. He was employed at R.R. Donnelly for 17 years.
Survived by his wife Kelli; children Myken (Chad) Lunceford, Ryan (Natalia), Alexa, Olivia, Erin; grandchildren Mykala and Jace Russell Lunceford; mother Gwen Jensen, and siblings Bill, Ted (Denise), Anne (Glenn) Rowley, Barbara (Steve) Jenkins, and Neil (Allyson). Proceeded in death by his father Roger Jensen.
Since he was young, Michael has had a fascination with airplanes. He was a master model builder. He enjoyed photography, music, singing, was a member of the Mormon Youth Chorus, and an avid basketball fan.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 26, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church at 2750 North 800 East. There will be viewings Thursday March 25, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North in North Logan and at the Church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial at North Logan Cemetery.
