Born to John Wesley and Mina Miles Roundy in Cache Junction Utah. Mina was one of 12 children, with two living sisters, Donna R Marchant, American Fork, UT and Blanche R Williams, San Diego, CA.
She enjoyed and loved her family with all her heart. Her home was open to everyone and filled with love and caring.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Russell C. Maughan and second husband Martin V. Anderson.
She is survived by her 8 children, Russell S (Golda deceased, June), Michael W (Sharron), Jeannene (Lloyd Kendall deceased, Merrill Thornton deceased), John M. (Reva), Marjorie Kay Maughan, Susan (William Owen deceased, Philip Scholl), Clark F (Liz, divorced, Berta), Stanley R (Kathy) and many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren.
She had many church callings and enjoyed working in the temple and genealogy work. Later in life she was a compassionate caregiver to many people. She loved sewing, crocheting, cooking, and reading.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening, August 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, and prior to services on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, her visiting companion Nona, and the CNS and Hospice employees that cared for and loved her.
