Myrl Hadfield Allen

GILBERT, Ariz. -- Myrl Hadfield Allen, 91, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2005, in Gilbert, Ariz. She was born October 17, 1913, in Grouse Creek, Utah. She married Foster Baker Allen in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death after 57 years of marriage.

During her married life she lived in Logan, Glendale, Ariz., and Providence. She and Foster served four LDS missions together and Myrl served an additional mission after his death.

Myrl was a loving mother - adored by her family and all who knew her. She is survived by siblings Elden, Norman, Max and Dean Hadfield, Vonda H. Whitlock, Amy H. Petersen; and by her children, Warren (Barbara), Karine Eliason (Gordon), Gordon (Kathaleen), Portia NeVille (Robert), Rebecca Wright and Ruth Anderson (Alan). She had 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, at the LDS Park Center Ward, 422 E. University Drive in Mesa. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 27, in the Logan Cemetery. The family suggests donations to the LDS General Missionary Fund.
