Nancy Lee Bryant

Nancy Lee Bryant born May 20th 1937 to Leonard Earl DeWitt and Sarah Ruth Watson.

Nancy was the youngest of nine children.

She died in her home in Logan, Utah March 3, 2022.

Nancy graduated from Woodbury High School in 1955. She participated in playing sports: tennis, basketball, softball and field hockey.

She married Robert Walton Bryant on March 10, 1956 and from that marriage came seven children: Randy Charles Bryant, Thomas Robert Bryant, Luke Walton Bryant, Bonnie Lee Bryant, Sharon Bryant, Matthew Bryant and James Nathan Bryant.

She resided in New Jersey most of her life then relocated to Utah where she attended B.Y.U. after raising her children and got a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She had a rewarding career in Social Work and was instrumental in opening the Children’s Justice Center in St. George, Utah.

Nancy was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings throughout her life. Serving was a huge part of her life and brought her much joy. Many family and friends have benefitted from her selfless service and compassion.

She was a lifelong learner and loved to read books, play the piano and be around her family which brought her much joy. She had a great sense of humor and made life fun for those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and children, Tom, Matthew and Sharon, and daughter-in-law Lorraine.

She is survived by her children Randy, Luke, Bonnie and James.

We will miss her kind hearted, generous, intelligent, positive and fun-loving spirit. Our world is definitely a better place because of her.

Graveside services will take place Tuesday, March 15th in the Logan City Cemetery beginning at 12pm. Condolences may be expressed online at www.allenmortuaries.net
