Nancy Lee Moser Hirst, age 65, was reunited with her sweetheart Bruce, on May 10th, 2018.
Nancy was born on April 26, 1953 in Logan, UT to Darrell and Rosa Valoise Moser. She was blessed with four wonderful sisters. They have always been close and enjoyed spending time together. Nancy attended schools in Logan, UT, graduating from Logan High in 1971. She married her high school sweet heart, Bruce Hirst, in 1972 and made their home in Logan. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS temple.
Nancy and Bruce were blessed with three beautiful children Angie, Bryan and Greg. As a family they enjoyed family get-togethers, camping, especially their yearly camping trip to Red Fish Lake in Idaho.
Nancy enjoyed gardening (peonies and roses were her favorite flowers), shopping with her sisters, reading, taking walks around her beautiful neighborhood, and music!
Nancy retired from USU after working in the Registrar’s Office for nearly 30 years. Nancy was a member of the LDS church where she served in several callings.
Nancy was proceeded in death by the love of her life, Bruce K. Hirst, her parents Valoise and Darrell Moser, and sister Karlynn Canfield, brothers-in-law Wayne Canfield and Keith Daveline. She is survived by her three children, Angie Register (Craig Walker), Bryan Hirst (Becky), and Greg Hirst (Nikki Hodges). She had five grandchildren, Carley Hirst (Brandon Martini), Hailey Register, Brayden Hirst, Jackson Register, and Savannah Hirst. She has three sisters, Darla and Merrill Downs, Paula and Glen Jay Thornley, Peggy Daveline. She has many nieces and nephews that loved dearly.
A Viewing will be held Tuesday, May 15th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Allen Hall Mortuary (34 East Center Street, Logan, UT). Funeral services will be held the following day, Wednesday, May 16th at 12:00 p.m. (294 North 100 East, Logan, UT) with a viewing before services from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
A graveside service will be held at the Logan City Cemetery.
We are going to miss her smile and her saying, “Come give me some love, Sugar”. We love you!!
