Nancy Loretta Jacobson Bodrero Larsen, 80, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on October 24, 2024 in Salt Lake City, UT surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. She was born on November 20, 1943 in Logan, Utah to Carl and Evelyn Jacobson. She spent her early years near Second Dam in Logan Canyon while her father oversaw the power plant there. She met her eternal sweetheart Paul Bodrero and they married February 24, 1961. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 15, 1968. They spent over 40 years raising four sons and two daughters, mostly in their beloved Cache Valley. They built a lasting friendship and marriage through Friday date nights, fun vacations and hard work. Paul preceded her in death on December 21, 2002. She married her friend Don Larsen on August 17, 2013. She enjoyed many road trips and his companionship in her later years. Don also preceded her in death on May 28, 2021.

Nancy was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she cheerfully served in a wide range of callings. Her beliefs guided her life and brought comfort when times were difficult. She was always aware when someone needed comfort and didn’t hesitate to offer a loving hand of support. Nancy was a dependable childcare provider and medical receptionist for many years. She was a wonderful cook, thoughtful card writer, and fierce defender of her family. Nancy was a loyal and true friend and enjoyed many meaningful and enduring relationships throughout her life. For so many, she taught how to truly love your neighbor as yourself. She leaves a hole in our hearts and will be sorely missed.

Nancy is survived by her children, Michael Bodrero, Lisa (Doug) Ringle, Cheryl (Jason) Rindlisbacher, Jason (Madeline) Bodrero, Eric (Cami) Bodrero, and Lance (Megan) Bodrero, her stepsons Doniel (Lynda) Larsen and Kirk (Shauna) Larsen. She is also survived by a sister, Debra Garr and a brother, Evan Dahle, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Gladys Olsen Baker and Joyce Anderson Munns and a brother, DeLoss Dahle.
