COVE, UTAH - Neil D. Jensen, 64, from Cove, Utah, was taken from us unexpectedly on December 31, 2008. He passed away at Logan Regional Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.

Neil was born August 9, 1944 in Cove, Utah to Anthony Legrand (Slim) and Bethea Day Jensen. He graduated from North Cache High School. Neil married Vicky Jo Lewis on December 29, 1964 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Neil lived most of his life in Cove. He worked at Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) for the last 15 years. He had a great love of the outdoors, hunting, riding his horse, and working on the family farm. Neil could fix anything and was never idle. He had a tough exterior, but inside had a heart of gold, willing to help anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially teasing them.

He is survived by his wife Vicky, his sons, Wesley (Kristi) Jensen of Cove, Cory (Angie) Jensen of Richmond, 4 grandchildren, and his brother, Ross Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Bethea Jensen and by his brother Lex Jensen.

Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Cove LDS Chapel, 12832 North 1200 East in Cove. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 5 at the Cove LDS Chapel and prior to services on Tuesday from 10:00-11:30 AM at the church. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery.
