Nola Roberts Morrill

April 1, 1928 — October 3, 2010

LOGAN, UTAH: Nola Morrill, 82, passed away October 3, 2010, at the age of 82 from complications of pneumonia.

She was born April 1, 1928 in Joseph Utah, daughter of James Abel and Caroline Roberts. She married Arnold Morrill on April 5, 1944 in Clovis, CA. They were later married in the Manti Temple on June 29, 1963. They raised their family in Provo, UT. Arnold died in March, 1986. She later married Thomas Crane in October, 1988. He died April 2008.

Growing up in a family of 11 children during the depression taught her the value of hard work. One of her greatest attributes was her ability to make people feel valued. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a dedicated homemaker, an excellent cook, and was very skilled in quilting and crocheting. She was an avid Utah State Aggie basketball fan.

Nola was a member of the LDS church, serving as Relief Society President for several years. She was known for her caring compassion providing meals and support for many people throughout her lifetime. She and husband Tom served an LDS mission in South Dakota.

She is survived by her children Toni (Wayne) Stewart of Perry, UT, Gary (Ann) Morrill of Coalville, UT, and Stewart (Vicki) Morrill of Logan, UT, two brothers, 17 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the Rivergrove Ward Chapel, 700 West 800 North, Provo, UT. The viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
