Noriko Yamane Murphy

North Logan: Noriko Yamane Murphy, 59, died on April 23, 2010 at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. She was born on October 4, 1950 in Ashikaga, Japan the daughter of Takeshi Yamane and Tsuyako Yamane (Watanabe). Noriko was married in 1973 to Verl A. Murphy, Jr. and they later divorced.
She is survived by three children: Maki Murphy, North Logan; Katie (Jake) Ross, Centennnial, Colorado; Jessica Munk, Logan. Four grandchildren, Erika Munk, Kalvin Munk, Eleanor Ross, and Judd Ross. Mother, brother, Seichi Yamane, and sister, Sumie Ueno all of Saitama, Japan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the North Logan 7th Ward Chapel, 1850 North 400 East. There will be a viewing at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan on Tuesday evening from
6-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment will be in the North Logan Memorial Park and Cemetery.
