At age 58, Norita Victoria Austin LeFevre, beloved wife of Michael Wade LeFevre, died at Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, Utah from complications of a stroke she suffered at home in Hyrum, Utah on 12/11/2022.
Norita Victoria was born on January 6, 1965 in Pocatello, Idaho to Vernon Waddoups Austin and Edna Ellen Hebdon Austin. She married Michael Wade LeFevre in the Idaho Falls temple on January 17, 1987.
Norita was a devoted mother of three: Justin Austin LeFevre, Nathan Aaron LeFevre and Kailynn Ann LeFevre. She loved to ride Off-Highway-Vehicles with family and friends, while hunting for interesting rocks which she collected by the box full. Her most frequent rides were in the mountains east of Logan, Utah and the mountains above Manti, Utah.
She loved the outdoors, animals, and children. She was cheerful, upbeat, and positive. As a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she was active in the nursery, primary, cub scouts, and served as camp director for the young women and as a teacher for the relief society. She was also active in girl scouts.
She is preceded in death by her brother Nicholas Vernon Austin, nephew Scott Austin McAllister, and father-in-law Mikeal Joe LeFevre. She is survived by her husband, three children, three granddaughters, mother-in-law Judy Ann Vaughn LeFevre, parents Vernon Waddoups Austin and Edna Ellen Hebdon Austin, sister Reva Ellen Austin McAllister (Bruce), and brother Oran Philo Austin, and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at the Hyrum 6th Ward at 455 E 100 S, Hyrum, Utah 84319 on Friday, 03/17/2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Another Viewing will be held at Hawker Funeral Home at 132 Shilling Ave, Blackfoot, Idaho 83221 on Saturday, 03/18/2023, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Saturday’s viewing will be immediately followed by the funeral at noon and then burial at Riverside-Thomas Cemetery, 939 ID-39, Blackfoot, Idaho, 83221.
