Oleen Weeks Peterson
Beloved daughter of Orson E. Weeks and Wilma Ann Stephenson was born 6 February 1935 in Fairview, Idaho and passed away 10 Jan 2012 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center from complications of age and diabetes.
Oleen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the eldest of ten children. Weeks (Burley, Idaho)
Oleen married Clay LaMar Peterson on 17 Jan 1964, who preceded her in death. They made their home in Logan, Utah and later in SLC, Utah.
Oleen had a talent for and an appreciation of art. She learned to paint and draw as a youth in school and enjoyed the use of color throughout her life.
Although she never had children of her own, Oleen loved to be around and associate with children. She spent many happy hours entertaining her younger siblings as well as nieces and nephews. Her kind manner and patience with others made her a favorite of many. She loved to share stories with those around her and hold on to the memories she had helped to create.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, 2012 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center in Logan. Burial will be in the Lewiston City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
