Olga Nieoma Davis

Olga Nieoma Davis, age 90, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007 at Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Logan, Utah. She was born January 19, 1917 in Logan, Utah, a daughter of Niels Peter and Olga Caroline Johnson. She married Carl Alfred Davis on June 30, 1943 in Logan, Utah. At the time of Carl's death, in 2005, they were residing in Toquerville, UT. Shortly after his death she moved to Pioneer Valley Lodge in Logan, UT to be near her nieces in Cache Valley. At the time of her death she was residing at Pioneer Valley Lodge.
Surviving family includes her: children, Edward J. (Arlene) Davis, of Sandy, UT, and Lane A. Davis, of Logan, UT; daughter-in-law, Anna Davis Nuttall, of Riverton, UT; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Jennette (Stephen) Hawkes of Richmond, UT, Ruth (George) Castleton of Hyrum, UT, and Catherine (Dwight) Solomon of West Valley City, UT.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm., Friday, January 26, 2007 at the Garner Funeral Home Chapel, 1001 - 11th Avenue, Salt Lake City where friends may call on Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services. There will also be a viewing in North Logan on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Allen-Cranney Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Hospice for Utah, particularly Dr. Holland, Dianne, Sonja, and Tammy and many others from Hospice who so willingly gave of their time and love to care for her.
