LOGAN, UTAH -- Orene Stuart Murray Purser, 81, of Wellsville, Utah passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2009. Orene was born June 13, 1927, to Edward and Esther Stuart in Wellsville, Utah. She attended local schools and graduated from South Cache High School in 1945. Her friends from her youth have lasted a lifetime. Those friends in her women's club and Daughters of the Utah Pioneer have been especially dear.

The family is appreciative of their loving care.
Orene will always be known for her kind demeanor, love of family, and selfless service in the church, holding several church positions throughout her life. She was a hard worker her entire life, helping run the family farm in Wellsville after Parley's passing. She also worked at EA Miller's Beef, South Cache Jr. High, The State of Utah, and for several years at Smithfield Implement. She loved working with people. After retiring, she served in the Logan LDS Temple and enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
