LOGAN - Oscar Monroe McCann passed away on Monday November 5th 2012 and returned to his loved ones in Heaven. He was born on July 4th 1928 in Providence, Utah. He was married to Rosa Pecollo McCann, who went back to her Heavenly Father in 2005. He has four children: Dianne M. Meldrum, Richard O. McCann, David J. McCann and Steven R. McCann. He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Oscar was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He went on a Spanish American mission to the Central States for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, when he was 19 years old, for 2 1/2 years and upon returning he was enlisted in the Navy when the Korean War was going on. He lived a good life and accomplish a lot during those years. We love you very much dad, we will miss you greatly.

website where we will share more about him there. A “Graveside Service” will be held at the Preston, Idaho Cemetery on Tuesday November 13th 2012 at 1:00 p.m. There will not be a viewing. If anyone would like to visit with the family prior to the service, you may arrive 15 minutes prior to the service, at the cemetery. Flowers are welcome and may be delivered to Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan, UT. However, Donations are Extremely Welcomed in Liew of Flowers and may be sent to the family at 128 Wapiti Loop, Hyrum, Utah, 84319 /care of D. Meldrum.
