Patricia Stockdale McNeil

Patricia (Patti) Stockdale McNeil passed away on June 8, 2024, in Logan, Utah.  She was born November 28, 1955, to Howard Dee and Ruth Skabelund Stockdale.

Patti had a great love of all animals, music and everything Disney.  She always had cat companions throughout the years and could be seen cheering for her favorite basketball team, the Utah Jazz.  She also loved spending hours playing games with family and friends.  

She learned to play the piano beautifully.  As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she put it to good use playing for the primary many years.  She also taught in Primary and was a Primary President.  

Patti obtained a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Elementary Education.  She taught 1^st grade for 44 years teaching in Hurricane, LaVerkin, and Logan, Utah.  

She married Jeffery Scott McNeil on June 19, 2010, in Logan.  Their 10-year marriage was filled with memories and love.

Patti is survived in death by siblings, Susan Stockdale, Frances (Rick) Warren, and Richard (Marrianne) Stockdale; stepdaughters, Karen Faiza and Jennifer Norman, five step grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jeff, and oldest brother, John Stockdale.  

We would like to thank the wonderful nurses, doctors, and staff at the emergency room, ICU, and transitional care, and all those that helped her care over the years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11:30 am with a viewing from 10-11 am at the Logan Canyon Ward, 325 Lauralin Dr. Logan.  Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.
