Patsy Taylor

Patsy DeAnn Bradford Taylor, 72, our loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2012 in Hyrum, Utah.
Pat was born August 15, 1939 in Garland, Utah. The daughter of Vila Elena Wakley and William Cecil Bradford. She had one brother and one sister.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was raised in Garland and attended elementary school and her freshman year at Bear River High School. Pat had many fond and happy memories of her childhood years in Garland. The family then moved to Ogden, Utah where she attended Weber High School. It was at Weber High where she met and married the love of her life Lloyd Norman Taylor on April 5, 1957. Shortly after Lloyd went into the army and for a time they lived in Ozark Alabama and El Paso Texas. They then returned to live in Ogden for a number of years. Later they move to Hyrum where they have lived ever since.
They raised three beautiful and loving children. Pat’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishments were her family. The best times of her life was when she was with her children and grandchildren.
After raising her family she went to work for Safeway Stores and then for Shopko for 17 Years and then retired.
She was a league bowler for many years, where she participated in city, state, and national tournaments. She had many fond and fun memories of her friends she bowled with.
Lloyd and Pat enjoyed for many years the times they spent at their campsite up Left Hand Fork. There were many special and fun times with family and friends.
Surviving are her loving Husband Lloyd, of 55 years, two sons and one daughter, Todd (Connie) Taylor of Logan, Utah, Cindy Leishman, Hyrum, Utah, Michael Taylor, Bountiful, Utah and 11 Grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, brother William Gary Bradford, sister Mary Gay Andersen, daughter-in-law Jody Taylor and sister-in-law Linda Taylor Mason.
Very special thanks to Dr. Richard Stevens for his kind and loving care. Also, thanks to Primrose Hospice and their homecare staff for their help and dedication.
Funeral services will be held at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan, Ut at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 27th 2012. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the services.
Internment will be held at the Bear River City Cemetery.
